The Center for Entrepreneurial Studies (CES) at the Stanford Graduate School of Business is looking to hire a part-time intern for up to 10 hours per week to support Stanford's famed Startup Garage course. The course boasts a long list of successful startup alumni, like DoorDash. Hours are flexible and negotiable. As a key member of the CES team, your activities will be crucial to ensuring that the course runs smoothly. You will work directly with the course coordinator on a variety of projects that maintain and expand the Startup Garage program. This position provides an opportunity to learn about entrepreneurial best-practices taught at the GSB, and to be exposed to a wide variety of interesting startup ventures. Required skills: - Positive "can do" attitude and willingness to pitch in as new projects arise. - Strong interest in entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurial experience is a plus but not a requirement. - Strong spreadsheet skills - must be able to work quickly and efficiently in Excel or Google Sheets to analyze data sets, graph results, and create simple formulas and shortcuts. - Analytic thinking and problem solving skills - the ability to use a set of criteria to make reasonable judgment calls about data within a set - Excellent communications skills (verbal and written). Ability to organize information in a visually interesting way. CES is a small, fun team with a fast-paced, collaborative culture. Hourly pay: $15.
