Become a maker of possible with us.Staff Process Engineer, Enterprise Change to Win (eCTW) will be responsible for process capability, cost reduction and continuous improvement project implementation at Specimen Management manufacturing sites. Provides specific engineering work related to field of expertise with broad overlap between engineering fields expected. Supports project planning and process documentation as needed. This position is on-site. RESPONSIBILITIES Leads execution of Specimen Management eCTW projects at manufacturing site.Performs project planning, justification, specification development, and budgeting.Completes MWO's, engineering studies and validations at manufacturing site.Oversees machine purchase and installations, as well as the building of whole machines or processes.Provides significant leadership for process and machine design of new product/process developments.Identifies significant continuous improvement projects.Provides lead in creativity around solving problems.Generally able to identify solutions to problems encountered without assistance.Works with Plant engineers, management, vendors, consultants, and collaborate with other BD Plants, platform teams, and sales & marketing on development, design, and fabrication of equipment or processes for new products and technologies.Plan and implement activities for multiple major or complicated projects, processes, and equipment without assistance.Willing to travel to other manufacturing sites as needed.Other responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:Aligns with all local and corporate BD safety laws policies/procedures.Follows all corporate and local BD quality policies/procedures/practices through consistent application of sound Quality Assurance principles.Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Observes all safety, environmental and quality system standards.All requirements are subject to possible modification to reasonably accommodate individuals with disabilities. Requirements Education/Experience: Bachelors Engineering Degree required (preferred in Mechanical, Industrial, of Manufacturing) or in lieu of Bachelors degree a HS Diploma/GED and 10+ years relevant experience.Related experience in manufacturing: 3 years required and 5 years preferredPackaging experiencewith Multivac'spreferred.The ideal candidate should have a combination of excellent written and oral communication skills, with ability to optimize manual processes.Flexibility to work different shifts as needed to perform required engineering studiesIndependent thinking / Self DrivenHighly collaborative work style, working effectively across all organizational levelsQuality Systems KnowledgeLogistics & Planning KnowledgeFor certain roles at BD, employment is contingent upon the Company's receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
