GeoTechnologies, Inc. , is a full service, employee-owned geotechnical engineering firm providing engineering and construction materials testing services on projects throughout the Triangle area and beyond. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team in the position of Staff Engineer. We are interested in hard-working, motivated individuals who are looking for an opportunity to grow with one of the top geotechnical firms in the area. This is an exciting opportunity for the right individuals to become key members of the team with the added potential to share in the ownership of the company. The position of Staff Engineer will perform engineering tasks under the supervision of a licensed engineer. Tasks will include both fieldwork, engineering analysis, and preparation of reports for clients on a wide variety of private and public projects, both large and small. Minimum Qualifications: S. in Civil Engineering from an accredited university S. with geotechnical emphasis desired 1 - 2 years experience in the position of Staff Engineer preferred Passed Fundamental of Engineering (FE) exam Goal of obtaining PE certification within the next 5 years. Proficient in MS Word and Excel. The successful candidate must be : Detail oriented Reliable and responsible Able to work independently Fast learner Enjoy both working in an office environment and out-of-doors. An effective communicator, both orally and in writing.
