The potential to achieve Lead Carpenter status could happen in as little as a year, depending on your experience and performance. REQUIREMENTS OF A STAFF CARPENTER First and foremost – A POSITIVE "CAN DO" ATTITUDE Looking to advance your career – not just looking for a "job" A minimum of 3-5 years of carpentry experience Strong finish skills and the ability to do top-notch framing, siding, and other activities associated with remodeling. Strong people skills – able to work on a team Great communication skills Reliable and dependable Must have reliable transportation and own basic tools The Staff Carpenter position earns a starting hourly wage range of $25.00 - $30.00, based on experience, with reviews at 3 and 6 months within the 1st year and annual reviews after that.
