Thosevenues include The Vogue Theatre, Rock the Ruins at Holliday Park, The Tobias Theatre, and I MadeRock n Roll festival co-presented by GANGGANG, all powered by the technology platform, Opendate.We are a dedicated team that is passionate about music, our community and desire to grow.Our staff accountant will be responsible for supporting the finance team through daily managementof our accounting operations including, but not limited to bookkeeping, A/P and A/R management.This person will also collaborate with our marketing, operations, production and software team toensure our organization is running smoothly to provide our patrons with the best nights of theirlives.This role is unique. Some days the staff accountant will find themselves deep in accounting work forour entertainment or software operations and other days they'll be stage right at one of our venuesensuring our events play off smoothly by supporting our operations team. Those applying for thisrole should be interested in a dynamic, unstructured schedule that changes by the season andneeds of the organization. Our approach is to support our team when life happens while alsoencouraging time off and vacations while proactively working ahead and communicating with otherteam members to ensure deadlines are met and work is completed.Here are the bullet points of the role. Checking every box isn’t required but hopefully this is helpfulin seeing whether you might be a good fit.● Early in career● Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field● Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (QB preferred)● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills● Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced & dynamic environment● Strong communication and interpersonal skills● Flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities as the company grows● Familiarity with entertainment industry is a plus, but not requiredWe are a values-based culture and are radical in our approach to ensure new team memberssupport our values and will be positive collaborators.Forty5 is proudly Indianapolis based and this role is expected to reside in Indianapolis. Partial workfrom home, within the Indianapolis area, is possible.Compensation and BenefitsWe expect this salary to be in the $50-60k range depending on experience and fit.
