Description:
This position is looking for someone who is able to work fully onsite out of Tampa, FL. This is a full-time direct hire position that is looking to pay between $65-$75k/year. This position requires public accounting experience and a CPA would be a huge plus. This position also requires strong communication skills and is looking to hire ASAP. Responsibilities: Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual GAAP and statutory financial reports for various entities Assisting in the compilation of various regulatory reporting requirements Preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations Assisting in the day-to-day operations and control environment surrounding financial information Research accounting issues to derive proper accounting and reporting solutions Providing external audit assistance Assisting with special projects as assigned Qualifications and Required Skills BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance Understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial statements Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills Unparalleled customer service orientation Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a growing business Ability to take on new tasks as needed Strong skills with Microsoft Office and/or other data manipulation software Powered by JazzHR
