Sr. Software Engineer

Description:
CBTS is in search of a Sr. Software (JAVA) Engineer in the Warehouse Management / Supply Chain space. Duties Collaborate with Agile software teams to design, develop, test, implement, and support software platforms using Java and other platforms. Partner with product managers, and deliver robust software products that orchestrate devices, robots, AGVs, AMRs and other equipment to automate the warehouse operations. Create robust unit/component/ commit/ build and deploy/CI/CD test automation as needed. Analyzing systems to identify bugs and ensure quality. Presenting a solution to the technical team and business users. Engage with our device and robotics partner ecosystem to align our product roadmap and direction. Maintaining developed systems and upgrading tools to ensure they stay relevant and up to date. Work directly with the customers to understand reported issues and schedule patches with fixes. Qualifications 7+ Years of experience as a software engineer/ developer building Java and Spring Boot software applications and services. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science 3+ years of industry experience in the Warehouse Management / Materials Management / Warehouse Controls Experience migrating platforms from a Legacy environment 2+ years' experience in technologies such as Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, API Management. 3 + years of experience RDBMS such as MS-SQL, PostgreSQL. Must be skilled with writing and executing complex SQL queries and understanding relational databases. 3+ years of experience with defining, developing and implementing RESTful APIs with JSON. Experience integrating with automated hardware, Robotics, IoT systems. Experienced with Git, Unit / Test automation, Cl/CD platforms to build and release code. Experience with BPMN, Camunda or similar Workflow Manager Platforms. Familiar with cloud technology including Event Streaming, PaaS services, Cloud-Native patterns.
