Description:

We are helping a great Birmingham-based company search for a Sr. Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting software systems. Here's what you need to know! Birmingham, AL / Full-Time - Direct Hire / On-Site Salary: $95-115K What you'll be doing (duties of this position): Analyzes, designs, and constructs software solutions. Able to work independently with little to no supervision. Analyzes current system for improvements with speed, performance, correcting technical problems, and identifying areas of improvement. Responsible for execution of unit test. Participate in requirements gathering and definition. Act as a SME and provide leadership to the team. Documents work in appropriate systems. Back-up other developers as needed, including reviewing code and assisting with multiple projects. Able to provide good development estimates. Assist with software builds, release management and deployments. What you'll need to be considered (requirements): Minimum of 5 years of solid, diverse programming experience. Minimum of 3 years with the following technologies: C#, ASP.Net MVC, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful Services, and Front end frameworks such as Angular, Vue.js, or React Strong knowledge of working in relational databases. Experience in object-oriented analysis and design, multi-tiered solutions, web technologies and standard design patterns. Ability to work in a team environment with a strategic thinking mentality. Detail-oriented with strong organizational, analytical and communication skills that adhere to standards and best practices. Knowledge of Agile Methodologies.
