Genesys has a current presence in over 40 locations around the world with main sites currently in Indianapolis IN, Menlo Park CA, Durham NC, Galway Ireland, Budapest Hungary, Chennai India and Manila Philippines. The Senior Project Manager, Global Workplace role will manage capital improvements projects around the world and transform locations into dynamic spaces for employees to come together to share ideas and learnings, create and develop innovative products, and showcase our brand and culture.The ideal candidate will be seasoned in large and small capital improvement projects from inception through closeout, including ad-hoc facilities requests. This individual will have thorough design and construction project management skills along with a demonstrated understanding of related business needs. Reporting directly into the Director, Global Workplace, this role will ideally be based in the New York metro area or one of our main US hubs, and can be flexible to work from home. Responsibilities Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical path activity ownership, through project completion and space occupancyPrepare, develop, and maintain project budgets as required for each project and project phase to ensure overall project objectives are metCommunicate with multiple internal departments to ensure effective coordination of site activities including IT, Finance and Accounting, Legal, Physical Security, Audio Visual, Sustainability and Employee Health and SafetyPrepare various RFPs needed for consultant and contractor contracts including writing scopes of work, evaluating proposals, negotiating fees, establishing clarifications, levelling and award of servicesPerform administrative tasks related to the contracts, such as processing invoices, implementing corrective action, or any other contract management activities that may be necessary for the fulfillment of servicesCreate and provide regular project reports for the various phases for assigned projectsAssist in developing standard processes and guidelines for project management, design, construction and sustainability complianceEnsure results in initiation, creation of project and design briefs, planning, follow through, and closing of all projects against agreed targetsAbility to work with other departments to define, prioritize, and develop projects, create and maintain standards and integrate with enterprise programsAbility to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings. Prepare and track project budgets & schedules in various software. Organize with the ability to identify and manage multiple priorities at oncePerform duties as assigned that may affect the real estate strategy and not be related to a specific project. This may include organization-wide consulting studies, facility condition assessments, organization of documents and materials, development of workplace standards and design guidelines, or otherMaintain high qualitative and quantitative standards for work performance along with maintaining accurate and consistent electronic filesMaintain effective professional relationship with vendors, consultants, staff, and managementEngage and communicate with internal project team members to ensure coordination and aligned communications for each project to ensure project goals are metCollaborate on and participate in duties and responsibilities relating to the broader goals and objectives of the Global Real Estate and Facilities team and develop and maintain deep relationships with regional facilities operations staff to insure successful project outcomes Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Science and Engineering or Construction Management and / or MBA7+ years in the design and construction industryExperience working as Owner's representative preferred.PMP, LEED, Black Belt, PE, RA, CM and graphics certification a plusAUTOCAD a plusExcellent computer skills, including the ability to learn new software as necessary, preferredProficient in Microsoft Office suite of products including excel, word, and PowerPoint a minimumExcellent planning, organizational and time management skillsDetailed oriented with strong planning, organization, and analytical skillsAbility to develop relationships to enable the internal and external partnerships that are critical to successful delivery of planning and design projectsExperience working within a very lean internal organization that relies heavily on external providers to deliver high quality and timely work productTravel required occasionally, not to exceed 20% of timeParticipate in and lead meetings in various time zones occasionally necessitating early morning or late night callsThis job requires frequent walking, prolonged sitting at a computer, standing, use of hands and ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Clear vision including close, distant, peripheral and depth perception, as well as generally good hearing acuity are required to perform tasks effectively Compensation: This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
