What You’ll Do Perform hardware and firmware integration of next generationresidential energy battery and power conversion systems.Lead and own control validation, board debug, root-cause analysis,and hardware/firmware mitigations.Lead and own new control features definition, firmwareregression, and firmware releases.Develop and execute system level test plans for powerelectronics hardware and firmware features.Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensurefunctional, performance, and safety requirements are successfully achieved.Conduct failure analysis to understand root cause and driveresolution for failures originating in testing and from the field.Drive continuous improvement in design and performance byproviding direct and accurate feedback to design owners. Hands-on with hardware bring up and prototyping. What You’ll Bring BS or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalentexperience. 3+ years of experience in electronic hardware integrationand power converter design/testing.Strong understanding of device characteristics, gate drivingcircuit design, thermal design, magnetics design (inductors, transformers),power electronics topologies (AC/DC, DC/DC & DC/AC), modulation schemes,and control theory. Experience with modeling and computer simulations (Simulink,HIL, SIL).Experience with C++ and Python.Proficiency with basic EE tools (scopes, network analyzers,power supplies, electronic loads, CAN tools). Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills, able toidentify and surface issues within complex hardware/software systems.Effective communicator and excellent attention to detail.
