Summary Works closely with nurses and Physician to complete administrative and clinical tasks including maintenance of Medical records. Duties and Responsibilities Record patient history and personal information Measure vital signs, such as blood pressure and pulse Give patients injections or medications as directed by physicians and as permitted by state law Schedule patient appointments Prepare blood samples for laboratory tests Enter patient information into medical records and maintain records Perform daily calibration on spirometry, audiometer, alchomonitor Perform vision screenings, audiograms and pulmonary function testing Track and order medical supplies Contact candidates re late/missing paperwork Order pre-employment drug screens and perform random drug screens Access Quest data base to obtain drug screen results You Must Have Associates degree or certification as a medical assistant and 3 years of experience or high school diploma with a minimum of 5 years' experience as a Medical Assistant or work in the Medical field.
