Position Summary: The Sr. Manager, Product Marketing is responsible for developing and delivering Love Wellness’ product marketing initiatives to drive product innovation, market analysis, brand awareness, education, and conversion across all brand touchpoints. The role reports to the SVP of Marketing and supports product marketing across all channels. We are looking for someone who can lead the product marketing function with the opportunity to prove successes and grow. Key Responsibilities: Work in collaboration with the SVP of Marketing and the Product Development team to lead innovation strategy and oversee the new product development launch process. Own the product-level value proposition, positioning, and messaging based on a deep understanding of our products and core audience Lead all trendspotting initiatives and market-level analysis to identify breakthrough innovation opportunities. Lead all consumer insights initiatives by conducting consumer and competitive product analysis to deliver new product concepts, with a focus on market sizing and whitespace opportunities, hero products; and product distribution strategy Partner with the leadership team, Product Development, Operations, Packaging Design/Creative, Retail and Digital teams to develop new products, samples, promotions, and content that supports product level storytelling/education to drive conversion and improve retention across all sales channels Partner closely with the Director, Brand Marketing to define product marketing strategy in key brand campaigns Own the pricing architecture for all SKUs, with a 2-year outlook and plan for pricing updates, while partnering with the eCommerce and Retail leads Develop, manage and maintain the sampling and promotional budgets Product Marketing + Education: Identify and present product marketing opportunities based on findings from consumer insights, competitive analysis, and market analysis Lead new product concept, including pricing, market opportunity, portfolio fit, margin analysis, forecasting with cross-functional team members Evolve and refine our category and product-level value proposition and points of differentiation Establish product-level messaging hierarchy; lead development of appropriate marketing claims and benefits Partner closely with Director of Product Development on new product development, offering market insights, retail opportunities, packaging and formula direction based on benchmarking Partner with the Director, Brand Marketing on the new product GTM launch process, focusing on the consumer journey and education with a mobile-first, social-first mindset Create/own product portfolio knowledge library Oversee product copy across site: PDP, FAQs, social, emails, blogs, and CX ensure accuracy and compliance, while ensuring information is conveyed in brand voice Define product-level content for campaigns and blog, and work with Creative to produce content Collaborate with CX to document, record, and create training resources for internal team and external partners for new and existing products PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS Upbeat, personable, positive, motivating, can-do/will-do attitude Capable of synthesizing data to drive business decisions Insights-driven with consumer-first focus Disciplined project management capabilities Consistent and laser focus on timelines Operates with a sense of urgency Detail-oriented production of work deliverables Strong sense of accountability and ownership Capable of structuring options and identifying tradeoffs Passionate and able to work in a fast-paced, team environment Willingness to seek out answers, explore out of the box solutions, and track down resources Team oriented and collaborative approach Great communications skills MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Must be based in the NYC area Bachelor's degree 5+ years of direct experience, ideally with a Beauty/CPG background with a brand that has DTC and Retail distribution Has experience working with cross-functional teams on driving new product development and innovation Passionate about the health and wellness industry Salary Range: $110,000-130,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level) We are an Equal Employment Opportunity ("EEO") Employer.
