SR. ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT, ORACLE EBS & DATA MANAGEMENT - Sought by NCS Pearson Inc. in Durham, NC, 40 hrs/wk. Responsibilities: Ensure appropriate usage of Oracle E-Business Suite application configuration & data. Ensure alignment of cross program IT strategy & planning with company's business goals. Optimize information management approaches through an understanding of evolving business needs & technology capabilities. Develop a long-term strategic utilization plan for the company's IT systems & helps "as is" architectures become "to be" architectures through phasing & cost benefit analysis. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related field, or foreign equivalent; & 5 years of Experience as an Enterprise Architect or related position. Experience in Oracle E-Business suite, with solution delivery of Finance, Supply Chain & Procurement modules. Experience in architecting data management solutions. Experience with Oracle data management & database technology suites. Knowledge & experience with data definition, movement & storage technologies. Experience of successful software delivery throughout the Oracle software implementation lifecycle, including experience of working as a senior architect on multiple projects. Experience developing successful API, SOA & integration solutions in an enterprise environment on one or more industry standard integration suites on multiple projects. Ability to perform complex analysis of customer provided data. Ability to document complex architectural concepts & solutions in both business & technical terms. Skills in logical data modeling & physical data modeling. Knowledge of enterprise architecture design concepts. Experienced in developing software. Experience as a technical lead, & experience guiding a technical team. Experience leading a widely distributed team in a global enterprise. Experience with various architecture disciplines such as security, network, operations, & data architecture. Experience integrating with on-site & 3rd party cloud applications. Track record of working in an agile methodology using some level of continuous integration. Experience designing & implementing a significant transformational project or very large product delivery program. Experience identifying & working with stakeholders to collect, aggregate, & evaluate requirements. Experience in enterprise architecture including the ability to translate Business Strategy & Vision into an Architecture Blueprint and partnering with Key Business Stakeholders. Hands on technical knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite applications. Knowledge of mapping business opportunity to appropriate architecture patterns & evolve architecture as business strategies & technologies mature. Experience developing incremental architecture strategies that facilitate migration toward a future state architecture blueprint.
