Then come join T-Mobile's Cybersecurity team as our next Sr. Engineer, Zscaler DevOps We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to help us implement and support Zscaler ZIA and ZPA. As a ZIA (Zscaler Internet Access) and ZPA (Zscaler Private Access) DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our organization's Zscaler environment. You will collaborate with multi-functional teams to ensure smooth deployments, automate processes, and optimize performance to meet our security and networking needs.Job Responsibilities: Job DescriptionJob Responsibilities: Performs security, compliance, and risk assessments on projects throughout project lifecycle.Collaborates and participates on identification of security needs & recommends plans/resolutions. Implements, tests & monitors info security improvements.Maintains visibility inside & outside of info security at an Engineering professional level. Collaborate with groups such as end user support, service desk, development teams, etc.Help deliver Zscaler solutions across the organization.Familiarity with implementation of various threat modeling approaches pertaining to one or more of the following STRIDE, PASTA, TRIKE, ATTACK TREE, DREAD, KILL CHAIN, CAPEC, Mobile Application threat model, Cyber Threat Tree, and data flow diagramAlso responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.Domain expert in SASE technologies, Software Defined Networking and other cloud based zero trust technologiesZscaler Infrastructure Design and Implementation: Design and implement the infrastructure required to support our Zscaler environment. Collaborate with network and security teams to architect scalable and highly available solutions. Configure and deploy Zscaler components such as web security, data loss prevention, cloud application security, and SSL inspection.Continuous Integration and Deployment: Establish and maintain a robust and efficient CI/CD pipeline for deploying Zscaler updates and configurations. Automate the deployment process, including testing, monitoring, and rollback mechanisms. Continuously improve the deployment pipeline to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.Configuration Management: Develop and maintain configuration management processes and tools for managing Zscaler configurations. Ensure consistency and version control across the Zscaler infrastructure. Automate configuration changes and enforce compliance with security policies and standards.Monitoring and Performance Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to proactively determine and resolve issues within the Zscaler environment. Monitor system performance, network traffic, and security events. Optimize Zscaler performance through capacity planning, load balancing, and fine-tuning cident Response and Solve: Collaborate with security and network teams to investigate and resolve incidents related to the Zscaler platform. Solve issues with connectivity, performance, and security. Develop and maintain runbooks and playbooks for incident response and recovery procedures.Security and Compliance: Work closely with security teams to ensure Zscaler configurations align with security policies, standard processes, and regulatory requirements. Perform security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests. Implement security controls, access management, and encryption mechanisms as needed.Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including network engineers, security analysts, and developers, to ensure smooth integration of Zscaler into the overall infrastructure. Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines. Share knowledge and provide training to team members on Zscaler operations and best practices.Qualifications:4-7 years' Experience in info security technology or related fieldExperience with incident handling for Security breaches.Expert in security subject areas2-4 years' Technical Project ManagementExperience with high level design architecture, security technologies, Networking, web services and SOA. Understanding of encryption, obfuscation, tokenization technologiesMedium to advance knowledge of Scripting tools (Python/Perl/Shell/HTML/PHP)Knowledge of federal & compliance regulations e.g. SOX, PCI & CPNIFamiliarity with load balancers (ex - A10, F5), firewalls (ex - CheckPoint), Venafi, MDM (ex - Mobile Iron), Cloud (ex - AWS, Azure), Malware Protection (ex -FireEye), Advanced Persistent Threats (ex - Damballa), Privileged Accounts (ex - CyberArk), SIEM (ex - ArcSight), Log & Event (ex - Splunk), Intrusion IDS/IPS (ex - Symantec) , Cloud Platform (ex - PCF, Docker), Scanning (ex - Qualys), AppSec (ex - Veracode)Solid understanding of T-Mobile's network elements and how they work together (EIT, Engineering & 3rd Party).Strong presentation skills to large and small -depth knowledge of security standard processes in large-scale environmentsStrong problem solving / fix skills.Dedicated and able to work under tight timelines.Always act with tact and integrity, and work with a variety of individuals in a positive and productive manner.Strong verbal and communication skills with diverse cross functional groups & the ability to communicate effectively to small & large groups.Knowledge of information security policies and regulatory controls (per team function)Demonstrable knowledge of current technological trends and developments in info securityAbility to plan, organize and prioritize tasks to complete independentlyAbility to work under stress and meet tight timelines.Domain expert in many facets of network & information security, including Firewall policy design, SSL Certificate management, vulnerability analysis & mitigation, and other topics as assigned.Able to work expanded hours as needed.Highly Desired:At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Zscaler Engineer or similar Zero Trust technology implementation in major Fortune 500 or bigger company.Scripting/Coding ExperienceEducation:Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science, or Information Technology, in lieu of degree, we may consider equivalent experience.License/Certification: (Preferred)Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)CISSP and/or CCSK and/or CCSP and/or CISA/CISM certification a plusCertified Information Security Manager (CISM)Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) At least 18 years of age Legally authorized to work in the United StatesTravel:Travel Required (Yes/No):YesDOT Regulated:DOT Regulated Position (Yes/No):NoSafety Sensitive Position (Yes/No):NoWashington Pay Range : $134,400.00 - $181,800.00The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range.
