Sr. Developer, IT Applications (2312103)

Description:
Collaborate with Product Owners, Sr. Developers, UX Designers, and Business Analysts to design and develop new software applications based on project requirements; Maintain and enhance existing services and applications using domain-driven design and test-driven development (TDD); Troubleshoot and debug complex issues, and identify and implement solutions to ensure applications are free of errors and function as designed; Develop and maintain systems using optimization and cross-browser development to ensure applications function across various web browsers, products, platforms, and mobile devices; Optimize application performance to ensure fast load times and smooth interactions to create a seamless end-user experience; Perform test-driven development by using object-oriented development tools to analyze, model, design, construct, and test with reusable objects; Advocate for the agile process and lead technical review discussions to communicate project requirements, designs, and coding standards; Research and implement new technologies to enhance current processes, security, and performance; Support the development of coding standards, and adhere to best practices and security guidelines by working closely with software architects and technical leads; Participate in pair programming and code reviews to ensure consistency and accuracy of application functionality; Create and maintain technical documentation for applications which includes components, libraries, and design patterns; Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to encourage learning and cross-team collaboration; provide technical guidance; and foster growth and skill development. Work Schedule: 40 hours per week/8 a.m.-5 p.m./M-F.3 years of experience as Developer or any occupation in which the required experience was gained, and demonstrated experience in: Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC); Java, JSP, and JAXB; Kubernetes, Docker Containers, and IBM Cloud; REST, SOAP, JSON, WSDL, and XML; Spring Framework and Spring Boot; Angular, Angular JS, Ext JS, CSS, jQuery, and AJAX; Maven, Gradle, and Webpack; Jasmine, Selenium, Junit, or Karma; GitHub, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD Pipeline; JavaScript, TypeScript, XML, and HTML.Master?s degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field. A bachelor?s degree plus 5 years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a master?s degree plus 3 years of experience.
