As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be working with members of the Data Science and Data Technologies teams to create data analytics/science solution for key company products. You will be working on complex research and analysis, requiring strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills, while working cross-functionally across multiple departments and as part of a team. At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 3 days per week in our Centreville, VA office subject to change with future business needs. What you'll be doing: Using advanced analytical methods to explore and extract additional data value for existing and emerging products Building interactive data tools/dashboard for product exploration/analysis/monitoring Providing actionable ad hoc analytics insights for internal stakeholders Designing and building recurring reports for internal stakeholders to make data driven decisions Identifying and implementing ways to supercharge data quality and data integrity Documenting analysis results and presenting value to stakeholders Creating reusable processes to assist data evaluation and analysis across teams within the Data Services department What we're looking for: 3-7 years of direct experience performing advanced data analytics or a Master's Degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field 4+ years' experience in R and SQL 2+ years' experience in creating reports and dashboards with R markdown or Shiny Good understanding of statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, GLM, etc. Ability to effectively communicate analysis and insights to all levels of the organization A passion for continuous learning Confidence to challenge the status quo What's in it for you: Competitive compensation, benefits and generous time-off policies 4-Day summer work weeks and a winter holiday break 401(k) / DCPP matching Annual bonus program Casual, dog-friendly, and innovative office spaces Don't just take our word for it: 10X Virginia Business Best Places to Work 9X Washingtonian Great Places to Work 9X Washington Post Top Workplace St. Louis Post-Dispatch Best Places to Work PDN-9c1bdf76-caac-4a44-96a0-8a753c80b268
