Sr. Buyer100% On SiteDirect Hire - $80K-$90KMonday-Friday 8 AM- 5:00 PMMain Job Duties:- Acquire necessary packaging materials from chosen suppliers to meet production forecasts.- Secure items from diverse vendors as required.- Create and manage purchase orders following company protocols.- Aid the Procurement Director in assessing price competitiveness, service quality, and product specifications.- Monitor outstanding orders and expedite them when necessary.- Enhance company profitability through effective procurement strategies and negotiations.- Oversee the ordering and prompt delivery of packaging for new products.- Handle packaging rejections and manage returns to vendors, ensuring financial accuracy.- Address quality issues with vendors and warehouses, including resolving credit claims.- Administer orders to ensure punctual and accurate delivery.- Maintain optimal inventory levels across multiple locations.- Assist in developing procurement performance indicators and compiling monthly reports.- Collaborate with internal teams for daily operations and updates on packaging needs.- Engage with departments like Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales to support development and commercialization processes.- Foster positive relationships with vendors and stakeholders across the supply chain.- Contribute to cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.Job Requirements: * 4-5+ years of buying experience * Bachelor's Degree or 2 extra plus years of experience in lieu * Bilingual in SpanishAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
