About the Position The Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist will play an integral role in the daily operations of the company and contribute to its overall success. This position will support the Operations department. The ideal candidate for this position will demonstrate reliability, pro-activeness, strong communication, organization, and task management techniques while maintaining professionalism in the face of deadlines. The position is in-office , Monday through Friday generally from 8am-5pm. In addition to the base salary range of $58,100-$77,900 annually, this position is also eligible for an annual bonus of up to 15% based on company and individual performance. New hires generally start between the minimum and midpoint of the range. The candidate must live within commutable distance from Irvine, CA. The Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist will perform the responsibilities generally described below, as well as any additional duties as needed to support the overall objectives of the company: Responsibilities : Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organization Ensure compliance with sub-consultant contract processes Maintain up-to-date certificates of insurance and MSA agreements for all subcontractors Assist in the development of accounts payable and vendor management processes and workflows Ensure subcontractors are paid timely and accurately according to the terms of their contract Maintain accurate records, including ledgers, journals, receipts, and invoices Reconcile accounts payable ledger accounts Manage client accounts and payment schedules Track and follow through on various client projects and requests Qualifications : 5+ years of account s payable and vendor management experience Proven organizational skills and the ability to maintain precise records Experience with bookkeeping software required ( Bill.com and QuickBooks online preferred) Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Can work independently and without supervision when required Resourceful , problem solver who's not afraid to troubleshoot issues Self-motivated, self-directed, takes initiative to perform duties with general direction Ability to adapt to constantly shifting priorities with ease Friendly, service-oriented personality with interpersonal skills Perks and Benefits: Competitive Medical Insurance Dental and Vision Insurance 401k Retirement Plan Generous PTO Plan Flexible Spending Account Life Insurance Disability Insurance Pet Insurance Discretionary Bonus Package The week between Christmas and New Year paid time off annually in a ddition to other paid holidays
