The Therapy Spot is currently seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide services in our Baltimore Clinic . Summary of Position The Therapy Spot is a pediatric therapy clinic that focuses on life balance for all our staff. We are looking for a SLP who wants to grow and develop their skills as an expert clinician while practicing in a low stress environment. Our therapists work directly with our patients to deliver the care and attention each patient deserves. Positions Available For: Speech Language Pathologists (SLP), Clinical Fellows (CF, CFY), Bilingual Speech Language Pathologists. The Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the evaluation, reevaluation, development and treatment of medically prescribed therapy services, in order to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains and independence. The SLP therapist must be able to work independently, as well as, in teams and make appropriate decisions based on each patient's functional needs. Maintain positive level of interaction with facilities and clients. Maintain good client relations with facilities and their staff. Benefits available to Full-Time employees. Requirements/Qualifications: Master's Degree or PHD degree relevant to position (new graduates and SLP's in their clinical fellowship year are also encouraged to apply!) Current CPR certification Feeding experience recommended or Must be willing to gain feeding experience. A good SLP who enjoys growth and opportunity with less stress A SLP who likes to work as part of a group and contribute in such a way that all members are winning together Most importantly someone who likes to see ideas taken into consideration and where room for advancement exists. Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of experience in a pediatric setting Education: Master's Degree from an ASHA accredited university (Required) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow (CF) may apply License/Certification: SLP license (Required) Other: After school hour availability preferred Ability to evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and pragmatic disorders Ability to treat speech, language and pragmatic disorders in children Positive attitude Willing to work collaboratively with other professionals. Develop strong relationships with families. Strong oral and written communication skills Great work ethic Experience working with children preferred Team Player Great pay and benefits!
