The Role: As a Speech & Language Therapist, you will collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists and contribute to the holistic development of students with specific learning differences. Responsibilities: Manage clinical caseload, implement tailored programs, and provide classroom therapy. Conduct backssments, reassess, and communicate outcomes to relevant staff. Contribute to LEA annual reviews, teach literacy/numeracy, produce IEPs, and support behaviour policies. Arrange audiology screenings, provide home programs, and support social development initiatives. Collaborate within the transdisciplinary team and SLT service for holistic therapy and curriculum alignment. Attend or ensure representation in relevant meetings, maintaining up-to-date records and compliance with legislation. Receive regular supervision for ensuring clinical best practices and sound decision-making. Provide clinical support to junior staff and students within the SLT service. Maintain CPD through attendance at INSET days, relevant courses, and literature review. Requirements: Previously worked as a Speech and Language Therapist or in a similar role. At least 2 years of experience working in a school or similar environment. Background in working with students with specific learning differences. Qualified Speech and Language Therapist Band 6 SLT. Possess bachelor's degree and HCPC registration.
