Veterinary Technician VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists is seeking experienced Specialty Veterinary Technicians for our Department of Internal Medicine in our busy 24-hour Emergency & Critical Care department. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including rotating weekends and holiday on-call.VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists was established in West Palm Beach in 1998 and has developed from a solo-specialty practice and has flourished into a busy, full-service, multi-disciplinary, specialty-only practice. We reside within a new 32,000 sq. ft. physical plant (operating 24/7/365) that boasts an in-house national reference laboratory and a blood bank. The Hospital also houses an Education Center with a 125-seat auditorium, large conference room and meeting hall that is used to provide continuing education programs for veterinarians and paraprofessionals. Our current staff of specialists includes two Surgeons, a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, three Internists, Emergency and Critical Care Service, Neurosurgeon, and Cardiologist. The hospital also has an Advanced Imaging department with on-site MRI, CT and Linear Accelerator. We are a very integrated practice that uses a team approach to case consultation and management. Our doctors work closely with our nurses and technical staff to provide optimal patient care, careful client service and open dialogue with referring veterinarians. The Chief-of-Staff and hospital owner is a practicing clinician with a commitment to delivering quality and value specialty veterinary medical services.
