Determining conformance to design and performance criteria or specifications from analyses of test data and deciding if the apparatuses can be safely returned to service or needs to be repaired. Providing independent professional consultation for customers after performing plant electrical assessment. Providing system operations or electrical maintenance with a decision which minimizes system restoration/outages time, maintains system reliability and keeps shareholder satisfaction high. Works independently while integrating all plans and teams. What Youll Do:Schedules, performs, and assists with on:site:electrical testing investigations of SRP and customers electrical infrastructure determining the appropriate testing points, reviewing the data collected and providing cost effective solutions to the operation and maintenance of SRP customer equipment.:Apply safe electrical testing of equipment of SRPs electrical apparatus, perform and gather test data, analyze the data collected and interprets the meaning of that data.:Supports other activities of the apparatus engineering department.:Develops, maintains and implements upgrades to the information system utilized by the apparatus test group for tracking of its equipment and instrumentation. This also includes maintains the calibration of the equipment to a traceable standard.:Authors and maintains departmental safety procedures and records and testing standards and procedures. What It Takes To Succeed:Doble testing certification preferred:Entails significant interaction with SRPs customers. This employee will be expected to establish a good relationship with these customers.:Employee may be required to sign confidentiality statements.:Maintain a safe and effective work environment on and off SRP
