Role Overview: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the educational and personal development of students with SEN. You will work closely with qualified teachers and other support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. Key Responsibilities: Provide one: on: one support to students with SEN, assisting them with academic tasks and personal care as needed. Assist in the implementation of education health and care plans (EHCPs) and behaviour management strategies. Support classroom activities and facilitate student engagement through tailored interventions. Foster positive relationships with students, promoting their social and emotional well: being. Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to meet the diverse needs of students. Requirements: Previous experience working with individuals with SEN, preferably in an educational or care setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues. Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of children with SEN. Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the evolving needs of students and the school environment. An Enhanced DBS or the willingness to get one. Eligibility to work in the UK is essential.
