East Cooper Montessori Charter School seeks a creative, kind, and talented special education teacher to join our faculty . East Cooper Montessori Charter School serves approximately 450 students in grades pre-K through 8th. We are located in Mt. Pleasant and situated on a large campus that allows for gardening, sports, strong fine arts, and a truly authentic Montessori hands-on experience for learners. Our MTSS team is comprised of a full-time school psychologist, a part-time speech/language pathologist, a part-time occupational therapist, two interventionists, and two full-time resource teachers. Our resource teachers enjoy a small caseload, supportive professional team as well as the latest tools and technology. We are a community-based school that centers on teamwork , collaboration , and innovation. We pride ourselves on meeting the needs of all students both academically and socially through strong wrap-around services. We also pride ourselves on providing a professionally engaging environment for educators to continue to grow throughout their careers.
