Come join us at Top of the Rock!What you'll do as a Sous Chef Hiring, training, and development of hospitality focused team members Uphold the highest standards of food sanitation and quality Consistently enforce standards for recipe adherence, food prep, production, and presentation. Ensure use of BOH systems to achieve optimal kitchen performance, line checks, checklists, opening/closing procedures, prep lists. Utilize various cooking techniques and skills for food prep and cooking Set expectations and monitor performance standards for kitchen staff What we are looking for in a Sous Chef 2-5 years of cooking experience in an upscale casual dining restaurant Excellent communication Proven success in a high volume restaurant Strong passion for culinary excellence and service Proven ability to develop your team Knowledge of systems, methods, and processes which contribute to great execution Stable job history demonstrating upward career progression Must be ablet o stand for long periods of time Must be able to life up to 50 lbs What can Top of the Rock offer you?
