Chef Virgillo spent much of his childhood in the kitchen with his mama. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SOUS CHEF - LINE COOK As a Sous Chef - Line Cook, you are vital to the operations of our kitchen as you prepare and cook various dishes to perfection. Each shift your work starts before we open the restaurant. Alongside the rest of the kitchen team, you wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for the night. You make sure to fully stock your station and prepare any necessary tools, utensils, and dishes. After we open for our dinner service, you begin cooking dishes to order according to our recipes. You skillfully grill and saute various proteins and side dishes. Then, you plate the food and send it out to the customer. After the dinner service ends, you store ingredients and clean the kitchen. As you work, you closely follow our guidelines for food safety and sanitation. You love furthering your cooking experience and find satisfaction in cooking delicious meals for our customers! QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SOUS CHEF - LINE COOK Food handler's permit or the ability to acquire one Ability to work with raw and cooked proteins Do you have a strong work ethic?
