Solid Waste Facility Manager

We are looking for a driven Solid Waste Facility Manager to take charge of operations at Ecosouth Florida LLC in Nokomis, FL. This essential position offers an annual salary between $70,000 and $80,000, in line with our dedication to sustainable practices and environmental stewardship. As the Solid Waste Facility Manager, you will lead the way in ensuring the efficient and top-notch functioning of our site. Your guidance will be instrumental in upholding excellence across all operational areas. Responsibilities: This will be a supervisor role and will entail the following but not limited to: --- Supervise employees on daily tasks and improvements --- Review Equipment Inspection Reports Daily --- Become knowledgeable of Operation Plans, County Contract --- Maintain Site and Employee Safety --- Become Knowledgeable of recyclable materials and how to process materials --- Deliver Monthly/Weekly Safety Meetings --- Maintain Good County Relations --- Computer skills to Input Daily Tonnages, Revenue, and Recycling spreadsheets --- Close communication with the Supervisor --- Maintain Facility Infrastructure --- Produce monthly tonnage reports --- Follow company policies and procedures and be able to adapt to changes Qualifications: --- Experience operating equipment such as Loader, Excavator, and Dump truck is preferred. Proficiency in using a Horizontal grinder is a plus --- Must be self-driven and safety-oriented --- Ability to effectively communicate with Employees, Customers, County, and Supervisor is essential --- Previous experience in the Waste Industry is advantageous --- Strong problem-solving skills are required --- Knowledgeable in Equipment Maintenance --- Supervisory experience is necessary --- Goal-oriented mindset is crucial for this role About Company: At EcoSouth Florida LLC, our mission is to provide local communities with outstanding customer service and an "easy to do business with" culture.
