Description:
Serve as a Software Systems Engineer Collaborate with various teams to translate operational requirements into software requirements. Participate in planning, coordinating, scheduling, and directing technical support activities applicable to: Software development Integration of software tools/capabilities Participate in the development and execution of software and system test strategies. Review/assess developmental contractor software code to ensure compliance with government-provided standards. Participate in government oversight of contractor software development activities, to include: As a supporting team member in agile development paradigm activities (e.g., scrums, sprint retrospectives) Generating recommendations to the government APM regarding development, planning, and testing Provide integrated, multi-disciplinary solution recommendations for resolution of technical problems. Qualifications: BS Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science 10+ years of Software or Systems engineering experience. 2+ years of cyber, Information Technology, or C4ISR systems experience Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, docker-compose, Kubernetes) Experience with virtualized environments (VMs, VMWare) Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and tools (e.g., Git, Gitlab, Nexus, Jenkins) Familiarity with Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) Experience with Linux OS Familiarity with the RMF process and security assessment technologies (preferred) Experience working in a DevOps environment (preferred) Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Extreme Programming, Scaled Agile Framework) Experience developing Web services software (preferred) Required: TS/SCI Job Type: Full-time
