Job Duties: Design and implement a secure CI/CD pipeline for Salesforce services. Architect the enterprise-scale Applications and implement in Public Cloud environment. Migrate the application workloads from on-prem datacenter to public cloud with zero downtime. Implement best practices for artifact management and signing, integrating with deploy services and workflow management for integration testing. Work closely with Developers, Architects and Operations to rollout and deploy pipeline components. Build self-service tools to provide stellar experience to the Developers and reduce the toil to operations team. Automate the operational activities to ensure 100% Security compliance within SLA. HQ address additionally encompasses the following Salesforce locations in San Francisco: 350 Mission Street, 415 Mission Street, 50 Fremont Street. The permanent position may be offered at any of these locations in San Francisco. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field, OR Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field) or closely related quantitative discipline and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field. A related technical degree required (Computer Science, Engineering (any field)). Special Skill Requirements: (1) Cloud Architect & Enterprise Scale Testing (GCP, AWS Cloud and Openstack); (2) Microservice Design and Architecture (Docker, Kubernetes and Openshift); (3) Virtualization (VMware and KVM); (4) Email servers (Sendmail and Postfix); (5) Configuration Management, IAC, Enterprise automation (Ansible, Puppet and Saltstack, Terraform); (6) Python; (7) Enterprise Monitoring (Nagios, Zabbix and Splunk); (8) Continuous Integration & Deployment (git, Jenkins, Packer, Vagrant); (9) Networking (Switches, Firewalls, TCP/IP); (10) automation job tools (Rundeck and Argo). Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Salesforce offices may be required. Salary: $215,197.00 - $233,000.00 per annum.
