The Software Developer works closely with our growing business to enhance internal software systems. Lakeshirts' intranet and ordering website are custom developed and maintained solely by our Information Systems department. Keeping up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment is crucial in this position. This is a hybrid position, with the possibility of remote, upon completion of onsite training and monthly onsite requirements. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40+ hrs weekly Essential Job Functions | Create + Maintain + Implement + Test + Develop Understand Lakeshirts' business processes as well as its target market to create and maintain software to support order entry and production systems Implement new and ongoing projects to support business initiatives Create solutions for challenging business problems, leveraging technology Keep up to date with advances in computer technology and how this affects the business environment Test software and identify any technical problems Develop and maintain internal software systems Utilize Microsoft.NET, Asp.NET, Windows Services and MS SQL technologies to develop and maintain core business software Other duties as assigned Qualifications | Proficient in Programming Languages + Development Platforms 4-year Bachelor degree preferred (Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent) OR 2-year degree required 3-5 years' experience in Software Development preferred Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking ability Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills Ability to work with others as part of a team to incorporate new ideas/technology, and negotiating reasonable compromises Proven track record of delivering results Must be able to work with tight deadlines Solid understanding of design principles Must be proficient with Microsoft.NET, Asp.NET, and SQL Server Must be proficient in C# programming language Software Development experience in the manufacturing industry preferred Experience with source code repository preferred Our culture is one-of-a-kind and truly sets us apart.
