LCSW/LMSW Social Worker Duties and Responsibilities: Provides social work services in an individual or group setting to individuals with disabilities. Provides services to enhance individual's quality of life and enable the person to live independently or as independently as possible in a family/guardian household or placement setting. Develops and conducts small groups on topics such as sexuality, sexual abuse prevention, and rights of individuals. Acts as an advocate for individuals served to ensure their rights and needs are met. Serves as a liaison between clients, agency programs, family/guardians, and other agencies to promote communication and integration of program services. Documents individual's goals and progress according to agency policy. Attains and maintains Personal Outcome Measures (POMs) interviewer certification and conducts POMs interviews as needed. Are you qualified?
