We're seeking a Paralegal I to join our Department of Social Services, where you'll have the opportunity to work under the general supervision of an agency attorney and handle a diverse range of assignments. 📚 What You'll Be Doing: As a Paralegal I, your responsibilities will include: Drafting and reviewing legal instruments for form and legality. Preparing routine opinions on regulations, procedures, and operations. Conducting thorough real estate property searches. Handling estate recovery operations. Assisting with complaints or inquiries of a legal nature from the general public . Presenting findings with preliminary legal analysis, subject to professional legal review. 💼 Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: To excel in this role, you should possess : Working knowledge of case, statutory, and common law. Familiarity with judicial and quasi-judicial procedures and the rules of evidence. Proficiency in legal research and the ability to summarize facts and evidence. Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
