Required Travel: 0% Position Type: Hourly Full-Time Salary Range: MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional SkillUp Excel Specialist to join our North County Excel Center team! This position is 70% data entry and 30% student support. Qualifications A high school degree is required. A bachelor’s degree and experience in the social service field is preferred. Requires ability to work well with a diverse population; possess excellent written/verbal communication skills. Must possess; driver's license, vehicle, insurance and ability/willingness to travel occasionally. Primary Duties/Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive intake and orientation on all students receiving SNAP. Process funding applications for all students. Correspond with FSD to confirm students’ funding eligibility and report participation in the SkillUP Program. Identify and appropriately assign funding in Synergy and on the Google Active Sheets. Complete student enrollment into the SkillUP Program utilizing the MOJobs database. Update and maintain student information in two data bases, Synergy and MOJobs. Capture and report employment and credentials in accordance with SkillUP policy and Excel performance measures. Provide resources, referrals and services to students to remove barriers, support their education/training goals and increase their overall employability. Provide support after graduation to secure and maintain employment. Work as part of the Excel High School team along with Excel Life Coaches and teachers. Participate in team meetings, iExcel, graduations, and other events. Update MOJobs no less than every 30 days to capture students’ progress and services provided by the Excel High School team. Learn and implement Missouri Family Support Division’s SkillUP policy. Network and conduct outreach to increase student enrollment at the Excel Center. Develop and maintain knowledge of community resources to support the needs of the students. Complete agency paperwork, correspondence, and data entry in a tly.
