Industrial Air Flow Dynamics is the leading provider of replacement expansion joints, pipe penetration seals, and HRSG duct/liner replacement systems sold to power plants. With over 20 years of experience, IAFD is a trusted partner to power plants nationwide . Join a winning team today! We are currently hiring Skilled Laborers ! This is TURNAROUND work and requires consistent travel (paid for by IAFD) throughout the US. Please do not apply if you cannot travel - NO Exceptions Qualifications: Must have 1 year of verifiable experience in Industrial Construction or a similar field . Knowledge of hand tools is required. Experience supporting welders in the power industry is a plus. TWIC Card preferred. Basic Plus or OSHA 10 is preferred. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background screen - No felonies within the last 7 years . Must be at least 21 years old . High School Diploma/GED. Your base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience. Responsibilities: Must be available to travel continuously throughout the US to jobs (IAFD pays for travel). Support Welders and Foreman on projects. Ability to frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Work on elevated surfaces such as scaffolding, on top of units, in boiler systems, 100+ feet, and in confined spaces. Able to read and work from blueprints/drawings and follow instructions. Proper PPE must be worn at all times & adhere to all safety rules/regulations. The ability to accurately read a measuring tape, follow written/verbal instructions, and communicate with coworkers positively. Able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. Can communicate effectively with team members, management, and supervisors. Working Conditions: Inside Power Plants/Industrial environment. This role will require a large amount of standing, bending, squatting, lifting, and walking constantly. May be required to lift, carry, and move up to 100 lbs.
