What you'll be doing: Manage all contracted food services in unit, including but not limited to, manning, planning, cleaning, organisation of food preparation and drive sales through centrally driven menu plans, promotions and retail. More about the role: Key Responsibility: Manage the delivery of the food service provision across unit utilising all available resources effectively and efficiently ensuring that all meals are provided to the required quality standards at the specified times to create a consistent customer experience and avoid any service failures or penalties. Role model the ESS Way values and behaviours at all times to colleagues, customers & clients and demonstrate the Compass DNA behaviours at ‘Managing’ level Manage all labour costs effectively in line with the labour bid model Conduct regular team meetings including the Huddle and provide essential business information/updates. Proactively develop and continually improve all client and customer relationships. Overall accountability, management and promotion of the Retail offer across site Complete all weekly finance paperwork accurately, forecast events, costings, and supply to the Line Manager in a timely manner. Process orders via nominated systems using the correct approved Compass vendors and defence food contractor where applicable. Monitor invoices and delivery notes and report any anomalies following company policy and guidelines. Ensure compliancy of V2 process and collation of submitted 7764s Monitor and approve rosters for the team and issue accordingly to ensure the operation is supplied with the correct labour to deliver contractual obligations. What we’ll give: Site Manager - NTEP Okehampton £31,944 per annum, 40 hours per week Maternity Cover - 12 months FTC Who you are: Essential: A good communicator, able to liaise confidently with customers and client and engage, motivate, and develop team members.
