SITE DIRECTOR Before and Afterschool Program Assistant Site Director- Glen Haven Elementary School Must have HS diploma, In addition 6 semester, 90 clock hours of approved pre-service training OR approved as a teacher by MSDE for early childhood education, including nursery. And 1 year experience working directly with children in an approved setting( registered child care home, licensed child care center, nursery, school, church or similar setting) Must be at least 21years old Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs Must be able to successfully complete a background check as required by state childcare licensing regulations Provide proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing standards AlphaBEST: After school is where adventure begins! Location: IMMEDIATE HIRE: Glen Haven Elementary School-10900 Inwood Ave, Silver Spring MD Schedule : Monday-Friday AM Hours 6:15am-9:30am for morning care PM Hours 3pm-6:30pm. Must work both morning and afternoon shifts. Work collaboratively with peers and the Leadership Team to manage all aspects of the program site. Train AlphaBEST Guides on how to lead adventurous tasks that ignite children's sense of wonder. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by establishing clubs that build on students' interests and talents. Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, parent, and school relationships are fostered at your program site. Together, let's put more wonder in the world!
