Works in a professional manner while focusing on the placement, installation, connection, and removal of signs for the customer. Duties and Responsibilities Follow safety regulations. Interpret and execute the tasks assigned relating to the installation of illuminated and non-illuminated signs. Provide maintenance to signs-lamps and power supply replacement. Work at high altitudes. Use different power tools and lifts to service signs. Provide customer satisfaction. Required Qualifications Willingness to become a union member Have OSHA 30 or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record Ability to work on a team or independently Ability to work outdoors year-round Ability to lift up to 75lbs Experience operating and using power tools and equipment Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Ability to perform work at heights up to 400 feet Detail oriented Overnight travel 10-15 days per year Preferred Qualifications 3-5 years related experience, including leading crews Experience with crane, signaling, rigging and lift equipment including scissors and boom lifts Swing Stage Scaffolding Certification or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire NCCO Crane Certification or be able to obtain within 6 months of hire Commercial driver's license or willingness to obtain Experience working on lifts and at multiple height levels. Experience in welding Experience in customer service Physical Requirements and Work Conditions Physical demands within this position include but are not limited to frequent standing, sitting, walking, lifting, listening, focusing, stooping, bending, reaching above shoulders, walking on uneven surfaces at job sites, using depth perception, working in different weather conditions, working at different height levels, lifting up to 75 pounds, and the use of hands to handle or touch objects or controls. Overnight travel required 5-10% (1-2 weeks annually on average). Requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use such as safety glasses, vest, hard hat, ear plugs, and safety shoes. **The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
