Apply today! www.sunroc.com FUNCTION: Under the direction of the equipment manager, the shop supervisor is responsible for directing the daily activity of the repair shop and ensuring the facility is maintained in a safe and healthful manner. KEY ACTIVITIES: Oversee all shop employees, equipment, plant maintenance, and condition of facility. Monitor employee training and certification. Maintain shop recruiting, hiring, promotion, and corrective action. Oversee the completion of maintenance projects. Set and oversee the achievement of performance standard goals. Schedule equipment for repair. Responsible for weekly reports. Maintain a DOT medical card - CDL is preferred. Perform duties of a lead mechanic. Maintain insurable driving record. KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Exceptional interpersonal, problem solving, and technical skills Ability to review and analyze financial information Strategic thinking skills Knowledge of equipment, vehicle, and plant maintenance EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Two year diesel mechanic certificate preferred.
