Job Title: Shirt Press Operator Company: Superior Uniform Service Location: Tifton, GA Job Type: Part-time- 5 days a week Salary: $10.00 per Hour Summary : As a Shirt Press Operator at Superior Uniform Service, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our dry-cleaning services. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining shirt pressing equipment to ensure that shirts are properly pressed and presented to customers in a professional manner. Responsibilities: Operate shirt pressing machines according to established procedures and standards. Inspect shirts for stains, damages, or other imperfections before pressing. Ensure proper loading and unloading of shirts onto the pressing equipment. Monitor the pressing process to ensure shirts are pressed evenly and without wrinkles. Identify and address any issues with equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including regular cleaning of pressing equipment. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries. Collaborate with team members to prioritize pressing orders and meet production deadlines. Provide excellent customer service by handling shirts with care and addressing any customer concerns or special requests. Requirements: Ability to follow instructions and adhere to established procedures. Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift arms above head. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred, but not required.
