Your Role and Responsibilities Responsibilities: A ttend meetings as required Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed Assist in the planning and implementation of continuous improvement of procedures Ensure team members receive training to correctly perform job duties and safely operate equipment and machines Assist in the development or revision of work practises Observe/assist the evaluation of employee performance to ensure compliance/standards Assist in team building, motivation and conflict resolution amongst team members Facilitate team meetings Audit/observe/hold team accountable to company standards, policies, and procedures Maintain confidentiality Provide ongoing feedback and coaching Identify opportunities for improving labour relations Accurately complete and maintain all relevant and appropriate documents Assist in training employees for various positions in the Shipping Department Act as back-up / assist when team is busy or away All other relevant duties Skills/ Capabilities: Excellent.
