Together under the Shyft umbrella, our teams drive new synergies that bring innovations to life on the road - for an experience that is safer, more satisfying, more rewarding all around.With 50 years and millions of miles behind us, we continue to charge forward - leading the commercial vehicle transition to electric, innovating across all our brands, and earning our position among Fortune's 100 Fastest Growing Companies.What you'll do:SUMMARY: This position is responsible for operating forklifts, loading, and unloading equipment, and storing or relocating materials within the facility.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Maintain valid forklift/stand-up license- including completion of daily fork truck maintenance log and proper maintenance of equipment * Collaborates and communicates with logistics team.* Promptly loads/ unloads trucks and deliveries.* Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.* Responsible for maintaining inventory record accuracy through accurate stock transfers and cycle counts * Line sets and organizes materials in a timely manner *Identifies damaged materials * Places materials to and from a variety of box/skid/containers * Transports materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to pallet jack, forklift, stand-up and/or pac mule * Identifies and communicates shortage parts * Assists operators as needed by lifting heavy objects * Participates in quality improvement efforts * Utilizes good housekeeping practices. * Assists in maintaining safety standards in all areas of responsibility * Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and communication. * Willingness to work OT on short notice * Preparation and participation in physical inventory. * Knowledge and application of damage parts procedure What you need to be successful: > Why The Shyft Group?We believe that when our people thrive personally and professionally, our business thrives.
