Share Distribution Center Clerk-GA 3611BR Warehouse Regular Job Description The principal duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: * Schedule all inbound appointments and operate the Inbound Delivery Monitor* Processing outbound functions through the Pick Wave Monitor* Create, edit, and update all inbound deliveries* File all receiving documentation daily* Process all Proof of Delivery requests in a timely manner* Provide customer service to vendors, customers, and internal employees* Provide direction and assignments to the workforce in conjunction with receiving supervisor* Process and prepare shipping documents for local long haul routes* Help with phone coverage* Operate the Pick Wave Monitor and prepare labels for shipping and loading* Assign work to crew and give direction for loading process in conjunction with shipping supervisor* Internal distribution dock auditing* Returns processing* Other duties assigned by management External Qualifications Required minimum knowledge, skills, education/training, experience, and physical obligations: * High School Diploma or GED equivalent required with a minimum of 2 years previous clerical experience in a distribution environment or equivalent combination of education and experience * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to use a PC to send and receive an e-mail as well as operate programs in MS Office Suite * Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Word and MS Excel)* Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines* Ability to follow detailed instructions * Ability to adhere to Edward Don & Company's Standards of Conduct policy Preferred minimum knowledge, skills, education/training, and experience, physical obligations: * Previous SAP experience preferred City Norcross State/Province Georgia Zip Code 30071 FLSA Non-Exempt Company Overview Owned and operated by the Don family since 1921, Edward Don & Company is the world's leading distributor of foodservice equipment and supplies.
