Dive into an exhilarating opportunity as a full-time Sewer Laborer - Excavator with Capps Plumbing & Sewer, Inc. in the vibrant setting of Wheeling, IL. THE BASICS: Pay: This role offers an hourly rate of $30 to $35/hour . Benefits: We also offer amazing benefits such as health insurance (we cover half!), dental and vision insurance, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, and a 401(k) with a company match. This position also receives a company phone, company-provided uniforms, personal protective equipment (PPE), a company-provided truck, equipment, and weekly payroll checks. Schedule: Experience the rhythm of your workweek as you work with a 2 - 4 man crew Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM . There will be some on-call as well. WHAT DO YOU NEED: Valid driver's license 2+ years of experience in sewer and water excavations Ability to use and maintain shoring for optimal results Knowledge of common trade tools Strong problem-solving and communication skills OSHA certification is a plus! YOUR DAY: You work with a proficient crew every day. With your crew, you'll navigate through residential and commercial excavations, emphasizing precision and efficiency. Responsibilities include maintaining machinery and equipment, troubleshooting challenges, and prioritizing safety protocols.
