Land & Design Campus: St. George (Downtown Toronto) Description: This studio continues to explore the role of technology in design and promotes innovation in design tool development, building systems, simulation and visualization. Emphasis will be on applying knowledge gained in earlier coursework in a project-based studio setting using computational techniques, physical model making, and 1:1 fabrication and prototyping. Class Schedule : P0102 - Monday 12:30-15:30 and Thursday 12:30-15:30pm Sessional dates of appointment : January 1, 2024 to April 30, 2024 Estimate of the course enrolment : Approximately 20 students per section Salary: Sessional Lecturer I - $18,915.79; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $19,861.58; Sessional Lecturer II - $20,243.53; Sessional Lecturer II Long Term - $20,652.23; Sessional Lecturer III - $20,725.52; Sessional Lecturer III Long Term - $21,140.03 per full year course Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail. Minimum Qualifications: Master of Architecture/Master of Landscape Architecture. Description of Duties : P reparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions, and student contact hours.
