University of Toronto Faculty of Information Emergency Job Posting – Sessional Instructional Assistant Winter Term 2024 (January - April) INF1230H - Management of Information Organizations This course (INF1230H — Management of Information Organizations) is an introduction to information organizations and the role of effective administration in the provision of information services through selected theories, principles, and techniques of administrative science, library and information science, information systems and archives. Familiarizes the student with the realities of participation in the management of information organizations. ischool. utoronto. ca/course/management-of-information-organizations/ Class Schedule: Wednesdays 12:00PM - 3:00PM. You are required to be located in the geographical proximity to the applicable University premises as of the starting date. Qualifications: Preferably candidates will have a completed, or nearly completed, Ph D degree in an area related to the course or a Master’s degree plus extensive professional experience in an area related to the course. Teaching experience is preferred. Duties: Assistance with course administration (labs, grading assignments, tests, exams), and other duties as assigned. Duties may include class attendance and 1 hour office hour after each major assignment given in class, typically 3 assignments x 1 hour each. Duties of this position shall be performed at the campus on which the position is located.
