Key Responsibilities for this Service Manager: As an integral part of the team, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties including: Customer Service and Continuous Improvement: Implement and oversee customer service initiatives, proposing and leading productivity improvements. Take ownership of customer maintenance issues, presenting improvement proposals to the Operations Director. People Management and Recruitment: Lead recruitment processes, manage induction for new employees, and support Team Leaders in effective staff management. Technical Activity and Compliance: Monitor and meet KPIs for technical support, resolving escalated technical problems and ensuring staff compliance. Facilities Management and Procurement: Oversee facilities management in the region, seeking quotes for improvements and coordinating security. Health and Safety, Communication, and Compliance: Monitor and meet health and safety-related KPIs, providing leadership and conducting audits. Qualifications and Experience of the Service Manager: To excel in this role, you may have a background in HGV Fitting, Plant Fitting, Truck Fitting, Lorry Mechanics, REME Engineering, or hold a Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, a HGV Licence is Desirable but not essential.
