Service Apprentice Service Apprentices are professionals seeking to grow their skill sets into meaningful careers. Apprentices undergo a 13-15-month training course throughout our manufacturing facility with technical and professional training included. They participate in on-the-job training assisting service technicians in learning critical skills for a future technician position. Skills Development Topics * Follow all required safe work practices, including wearing all required PPE in designated areas, Electrical safety, fall restraints, etc.* Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment* Under supervision, an apprentice will be provided with on-the-job training and technical instruction, essential preventive maintenance, and diagnostic best practices while following a progression skills development plan.* The apprenticeship program will provide for increased responsibility and pay based upon successful completion of predetermined on-the-job training and technical instruction and demonstrated skills progression* Job requires domestic and foreign travel Qualifications and Education Requirements An associate degree in Electrical or technical program certification is preferred. Two years in the industrial maintenance field is acceptable. Understanding of Microsoft Office products Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals Effective verbal and written communication skills A valid Driver's License Physical Requirements The ability to lift and carry up to 60lbs Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach, and crawl required for the entire shift
