As a SERE Contract Team Leader, your role involves leading diverse instructional activities, ranging from individual to large group settings, in alignment with SERE principles and DoD policiesYou will oversee training events, assess student performance, and employ various blended learning techniquesYour expertise will make a significant impact in this dynamic operational environmentResponsibilities:--- Conducting instruction during individual, small and large group laboratory settings as it relates to the principles of SERE and procedures supporting DoD policy, guidance, and the Code of Conduct.--- Conducting training events and assessing student performance during the learning processes.--- Use blended learning techniques such as eLearning tools, lectures, classroom discussions, team exercises, readings, case studies, role-play, and demonstrations of required skills through work-related tasks.--- Duties may include developing training materials, coordinating, and resourcing training events.--- May provide guidance, coaching and training to other employees to support team growth.--- Lead the Resistance Training Lab or Resistance Academics Detachment.--- Duties will require a willingness and ability to work in austere conditions, nonstandard hours, and occasional weekendsLimited short-duration CONUS travel may also be requiredQualifications:--- Secret level Clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret Level.--- Graduate from an approved DoD SERE Level C High Risk Course.--- Minimum of 4 years of services from any military branch, having attained the minimum grade of E-5 within their respective military branch, and an honorable discharge.--- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a fully certified instructor/trainer in any SERE discipline.--- Minimum 1 year recent experience at the UASJFKSWCS Level C SERE course in a Resistance Academics or Resistance Training Laboratory role.--- Full certification at the advance instructor level.--- Must pass a human-factors /psychological screening.--- Must pass an individual practical skills assessment.--- Experience delivering courseware materials that meet specific learning objectives.--- Ability to facilitate learning through effective presentation skills.--- Sound working knowledge and proficiency in the use of instructional methodologies (informal lecture, guided discussion, and role play) to present information and dilemmas.--- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.--- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor, be team oriented and work independently and in a team environment.--- Must be operationally flexible, adaptable, and possess excellent communication skills.--- Must possess the ability to learn and teach advanced technical skills.--- Operational experience in Personnel Recovery, SERE, or Special Operations.
