Instrumental Group is looking for an SEM Marketing Specialist to join our agency. We're looking for motivated individuals with technical search engine optimization and advertising management experience.As an SEM Marketing Specialist, you will support the SEM team with the research, strategy, implementation, and optimization of our client's new & ongoing organic & paid search campaigns. You will optimize client accounts for online visibility, drive targeted traffic, and contribute to the bottom line. Collaboration, continuous learning, and adaptability are key to ensuring strategies evolve with emerging trends, delivering tangible value as evidenced by reporting. Sufficient execution of job role will include analyzing campaign performance, identifying opportunities for improvement, implementing plans, and measuring for quantitative results. You'll need to demonstrate your experience and working with accounts and be comfortable in a host of industry software platforms. Job Responsibilities Strategy Support Keyword/targeting research Goals alignment Opportunity discovery Platform selection Goal setting Market analysis Performance Optimization Reporting on KPI/Goals Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) Cost per Conversion Conversion Rate Optimization Organic and Paid traffic sources Keyword rankings and Ad Health scores Campaign/Platform Alignment Measuring impact Testing and adaptation Algorithm updates Keyword synergy Content amplification Integrated reporting Brand consistency Conversion path evaluation Support both on-site and off-site SEO for a diverse host of clients. Support all elements of Paid Media, including PPC, display, remarketing, and social media advertising. Learn and leverage HubSpot as a central software for all client's omni-channel marketing strategy. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes to SEM best practices. Relevant Competencies You'll Need for This Position Deep knowledge of search ranking and optimization factors and important algorithm updates. Effectively communicate expectations to team members and clients in a timely and clear fashion. Resolve or escalate issues proactively to ensure campaign delivery goals. Work really well with your team members, treat others how you'd like to be treated. Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change. A commitment to excellence, extremely detail-oriented, and take great pride in results. Take complex/conflicting situations and translate them into simplified solutions. Prioritize and complete tasks in a fast-paced, rewarding environment. Adjust to flexible work hours to support clients nationally, we work from the compass, not the clock. Can juggle many projects at once, working across departments, while never losing sight of the core message and goal behind your work. Demonstrate proficiency in project management, website optimization, and marketing software. Demonstrate the ability to track campaign performance across multiple channels.
