Position Overview: As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a key role in our tax department, working closely with clients to provide expert tax planning and compliance services. Responsibilities: Lead tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, including individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Conduct research and analysis to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Prepare and review tax returns, including complex multi-state filings. Identify tax-saving opportunities and provide strategic tax planning advice to clients. Build strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted advisor on tax-related matters. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions that meet client needs. Stay current on tax law changes and industry trends, sharing insights with colleagues and clients. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred. 3+ years of experience in tax accounting, preferably in a public accounting firm or corporate tax department. Strong technical skills with a solid understanding of tax laws and regulations. Experience with tax software such as ProSystem fx Tax or similar programs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
